If you’ve worked at more than one company, you may have other pension
pots floating around. Did you know you may be able to transfer them into
the DHL Plan (or your current workplace plan if you’ve left DHL already)?
Points to consider
- It may be easier for you to keep track of all your savings if they’re altogether in one arrangement.
- Compare the pros and cons of each pension arrangement, for example:
- The level of charges you pay.
- The investment options you’re invested in and that are available.
- The options available when you wish to access your savings.
- The tools available to help you keep track of your savings more easily.
- If you have any particular benefits or guarantees that would be lost or any charges that would
apply when transferring from one arrangement to another.
It’s important to seek free impartial guidance from Pension Wise and/or regulated financial advice on your options and the pros and cons for your circumstances before making a decision to consolidate your pension pots.
Transferring into the DHL Plan
Did you know?
It’s estimated there is £26.6 billion sitting
in lost and unclaimed UK pension pots.
If you’ve lost track of a pension, you can
trace it using the Gov.uk tracing service.
If you’re an active member, you may be considering transferring your other pension savings into the Plan.

Charges you pay
To learn more about the charges you pay in the DHL Plan, visit the investments page
here and read the ‘Charges you pay’ section.
Transferring out of the Plan
If you’ve left DHL and would like to transfer your pension savings out of the Plan into a different
arrangement, you’ll need to contact the Pensions Department to start the process. To learn more,
It’s important to check whether you’d be better or worse off transferring your Plan pension
savings to another arrangement, especially if the new pension would be more expensive than
your old pension. You must also be wary of pension scams if you decide to transfer.
